Engelke, 96, Tuttle, will be at 10am Friday, 3/29/1996, in the chapel of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle. Rev Earl Phillip will be officiating. He was born 9/16/1899 in Stienner, Neb., and died 3/26/1996 at home. He was born to Frederick Dick & Lena Kuhlmann Engelke. He moved to Oklahoma when he was 3 years old and lived west of Minco. When he was 9, the family moved to Shamrock, TX, where he lived for 6 years. He moved back to the Minco, Tuttle area. He was a farmer by occupation and was a member of the Lamb of God Lutheran church. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, William, Louie, & Ted, 1 sister, Mary Moore, and 1 step-son, Joseph Daniel Ewell. Survivors include his wife, Mary, 2 daughters, Loveta Humphrey of Moore & Jean Wright of Oklahoma City, 2 sons, Fred Engelke III of Tuttle & Ed Engelke of Horn Lake, Miss., 3 step-sons & a step-daughter, Eugene Blythe of Dallas, Leonard Block of El Reno, Henry Lewis of Yukon, & Florence Shain of Oklahoma City, 2 brothers, Henry Engelke of Pauls Valley & Ed Engelke of Ringling, 38 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, & 6 great great grandchildren. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, under direction of Sevier funeral home, Tuttle. |

Mary Emma Rebecca Engelke was born February 7, 1919, and died on Thursday, December 4, 2003. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
