© Wilson-Little Funeral Home Purcell, Oklahoma September 2021 September 23, 1947 - September 10, 2021 Diana Davis, age 73 of Bridge Creek, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at Integris Baptist Medical Center. Margaret Diana Brown was born September 23, 1947 in Blanchard, OK, the 4th of 5 children born to Leon and Bonnie Belle [Tolbert] Brown. Her early years were spent in the Blanchard/Bridge Creek area, and later Newcastle. Diana graduated from Newcastle High School with the Racer Class of 1965. She married young, to Boyd Cable, and to this union, 3 daughters were born, Shelley, Brandy and Sunnie. Throughout her career she worked primarily in the printing industry, payroll and accounting. Diana later married Walt Davis, on August 17, 1990 in OKC, and they made their home in the Bridge Creek area. She retired from the FAA in 2011 after more than 20 years of dedicated service. Diana cherished her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a woman of great faith and longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Mustang. Diana enjoyed time with family, tending to her flowers, sewing, cooking and reading. She had a servant’s heart and a beautiful smile with an infectious laugh. She will be dearly missed! She was preceded in death by: her parents, Leon and Bonnie Brown and siblings, Earl Brown and Wanda Hall. Diana is survived by: her husband Walt Davis of the home; her daughters, Shelley McGuire and her husband Craig of Portland, TX, Brandy Cary and husband Randy of Bridge Creek and Sunnie Atkins and companion Tony Fenly of Newcastle; Her two stepsons, Leland Davis and his wife Terri Lynn of Pittsburgh, PA and Tom Davis and his wife Deanna of Yukon, OK; Sisters, Patsy Nix of Norman and Carolyn Hacker of OKC; 9 grandchildren, Ashlee Thomas and husband Daymon, Trevor Cary and wife Natalie, Tanner Cary, Tyler Atkins, Leland Davis Jr., Cory Davis, Amanda Davis, Robert A. Davis and Heather Davis; 4 great grandchildren, Jayden Thomas, Connor Thomas, Ella Howard and Aiden Davis; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at First Baptist Church in Mustang. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle. Send online condolences |
