© The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma June 15, 2006 September 7, 1933 ~ June 10, 2006 Funeral services for Willie Leon Crites, 72, of Tuttle, Oklahoma were held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the Sowers Memorial Chapel in Tuttle. Willie Leon Crites was born September 7, 1933 in Caney, Oklahoma the son of Walter Lee and Ollie (Workman) Crites and died June 10, 2006 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He and Jean Mangham were married August 16, 1952 in Sherman, Texas. Willie moved from Oklahoma City to Tuttle in 1971. He retired from Wilson Foods as a butcher. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 405 in Tuttle, the VFW and the American Legion. Willie was preceded in death by: Parents; one sister: Bessie Prentiss; one brother: Cephas Lee Crites. Survivors include: Wife: Jean Crites of the home; two sons: Jimmy Leon Crites of Bridgecreek and David Wayne Crites of Moore; two daughters: Judy Lynn Crites of Tuttle and Jeannie Renee Beville of Oklahoma City; three brothers: James Crites of Southerlin, Oregon, Robert Crites of Caney, Oklahoma, Dwane Crites of Oklahoma City; one sister: Lenora Ridgeway of Caney, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle. |
Tuttle, Oklahoma November 2020 March 26, 1935 ~ November 21, 2020 Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, Oklahoma. Genevie Crites of Ft Cobb, OK, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 in Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 85. She was born March 26, 1935 in Porum, Oklahoma to A.J. and Modene [Anderson] Mangum. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Leon Crites in 2006. Genevie is survived by her children: Jim Crites, David Crites and Judy Crites. 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. |
