Blanford Copeland
May 7, 1921 ~ March 15, 2005


Blanford Copeland, son of Jim and Willie Copeland, long time Tuttle residents, died March 15 in Orange Park, Florida. Blanford was born May 7, 1921 in Wayne, OK and moved with his family to Tuttle in 1927.

He attended Tuttle schools graduating in 1938.

He enlisted in the army in 1939 and served in Sicily and Africa during WWII.

Blanford is preceded in death by his wife Jo of 57 years, his parents and a sister.

He is survived by a daughter Jeanine Hendrix of Orange Park, FL. and a son Jeff Copeland and wife Wendy of Single Spring, CA; three grandchildren; a sister Lenora Hanrahan and husband Bob of OKC, OK; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was buried March 21 at Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle.

Blanford will be missed . May he rest in Peace.
