© McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service Mustang, Oklahoma May 2008 October 22, 1931 ~ May 29, 2008 Betty I. Caves, age 76, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Odyssey House after a short illness. She was born October 22, 1931 at Bridgecreek, OK to John and Tressie [Eades] McKinney and grew up in the Bridgecreek/Tuttle communites. She and Bill Caves were married on June 22, 1948 in Tuttle, OK where they lived and raised their family. She was presently a resident of Arbor House in Mustang. Betty loved to fish, read and spend time with her family. Betty was a recent member of Tuttle Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, one granddaughter Shelly, one sister Wanda and one brother Kenneth. Survivors include one son Billy W. Caves and wife Vicki of Tuttle, two daughters Peggy Smith and husband Jess of OKC and Cristi Vela and husband Tray of Yukon, six grandchildren, Stacey, Kimberly and husband Kolby, Lindsay and husband Paul, Jennifer, Candace and Zachary, seven great grandchildren Jordan, Madison, Morgan, Paighton, Savannah, Kamryn, Haleigh and Baby Kaleb, due any day. Also by two brothers Don McKinney and Claude, Dan McKinney and wife Billie both of Tuttle, two sisters LaNorma Canary of Newcastle and JoAnn Wakefield and husband L.G. of Tuttle and numerous nieces and nephews. The family extends a very special thank you to Odyssey House and staff for their loving and personal care during Betty's stay there. Services will be held at 10am on Monday, June 2, 2008 at Tuttle Christian Church with interment following in Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma. |
