Earl James Campbell was born April 5, 1928 in Norman, Oklahoma. He was the son of Ira and Anna [Baclay] Campbell. He died Saturday, September 24, 2005 in Norman. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle. Earl James Campbell was born April 5, 1928 in Norman, Oklahoma the son of Ira and Alice [Barclay] Campbell and died Saturday, September 24, 2005 in Norman, Oklahoma. Mr. Campbell had lived in the Tuttle area most of his life. He moved from Norman in 1942. He managed the Washita Valley Gin in Tuttle for 10 years and farmed in the Tuttle area until his death. He married Anna Jenell Hardesty November 4, 1950 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by: his parents. Survivors include: his wife: Anna Jenell Campbell of the home; one daughter: Barbara Campbell of Tuttle; one son: Jerry Campbell and wife Gail of Tuttle; one brother: Roy Campbell and wife Nell of Tuttle; three grandchildren: Crystal Neasbitt and husband Ryan of Tuttle, Jesse Campbell and wife Ashley of Tuttle, Jeremy Campbell of Tuttle; two great grandsons: Justice and Austin Neasbitt of Tuttle; a host of other relatives and friends. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Tuttle. |
© Sevier Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma June 2021 April 25, 1933 ~ June 27, 2021 Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2021 at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel, Tuttle, Oklahoma. Anna Jenell [Hardesty] Campbell, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 88. On April 25, 1933, at home north of Tuttle, Anna Jenell was born to William Claude "Bill" and Alma Lee "Pete" Ezzard Hardesty. At that time Anna Jenell had 3 older sisters, Georgia Lee, Nita Fay and May Belle. Later she had two more sisters Mary Ann and Billie June. Earl and Anna Jenell were married on August 3, 1950 and they were married 55 years. They lived in Oklahoma City for a while and then moved to Tuttle where they rented some land and started farming and hauling hay for her dad. From 1950's to now, Campbell Farms, Inc. has grown to be a 4 generational farm, growing wheat, alfalfa and raising cattle. Anna Jenell was a successful business woman, amazing cook and shared her bountiful garden with others. They had a daughter named Barbara and a son named Jerry. When her first grandchild was born Anna Jenell did not want to be called grandma, so she was Mema and when her great grandchildren were born she was still Mema. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Alma Lee Hardesty; husband Earl, daughter Barbara and 2 sisters, May Belle Barrett and Billie June Long. Anna Jenell is survived by her son, Jerry and Gail Campbell, of Tuttle, OK; Grandchildren: Crystal Neasbitt and Ryan of Tuttle, OK; Jesse and Ashley Campbell of Tuttle, OK; Jeremy and Brooke Campbell of Perryton, TX; Great Grandchildren: Justice, Austin and Natalie Neasbitt of Tuttle, OK; Kinley, Case and Kately Campbell of Tuttle, OK; Londyn and Kamdyn Campbell of Perryton, TX; 3 sisters: Georgia Lee Arterberry, Nita Fay Voigt and Mary Ann Osborn and husband James, all of Tuttle, OK. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle. |
