© The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma March 15, 1956 March 4, 1898 ~ March 6, 1956 Barney Allison, 58, Wheatland, a former Tuttle resident, died very suddenly Tuesday, Mar 6. He was a carpenter and was at work when he took ill and was rushed to an Oklahoma City hospital, but soon passed away. He lived at Tuttle from 1924 up into the '30s. He was a carpenter at that time and has followed the carpenters trade most of his life. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church in Tuttle with Guy Ward officiating. A mixed choir sang, "In The Sweet Bye and Bye" & "God Will Take Care of You". Pallbearers were: Ernest Holliday, Ernest Morrison, Fred Moody, Arthur Jackson, M.G. Singletary, & Jim Copeland. Survivors are his wife, Bertha, and 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls, and 2 sisters, Mrs W.C. Copeland & Mrs Simon Handke of Tuttle. Burial was in the Tuttle cemetery. |

Bertha Allison Jackson was born March 25, 1913, and died November 26, 2003. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle. |
