© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma December 26, 2001 May 15, 1979 ~ December 20, 2001 Funeral service for Curtis Joe Wise, Jr., age 22, of McAlester, OK, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2001, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John Edwards, Rev. David Flick and Assistant Joe Lucero will officiate. Curtis Joe Wise, Jr. was born the son of Curtis Joe Wise Sr. and Mary Louise Wise on May 15, 1979, in Chickasha. He died on December 20, 2001, in McAlester. Curtis grew up in Chickasha, where he attended Chickasha Schools. In later years, he worked for his father as a car salesman. Curtis was a loving father and adored son. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jim Leon Wise. Survivors include: 2 daughters: Martina May Grissam and Chelsea Ann Grissam, both of Chickasha; wife: Kathy Grissam, of Chickasha; father: Curtis Wise Sr., of Boley, OK; mother: Mary Wise, of Chickasha; 2 brothers: Robert Wise, U.S. Navy, stationed in the Arabian Sea, and Terry Wise, of Chickasha; sister: Cassey Wise, of Chickasha; maternal grandparents: Fred and Mary She rwood, of Chickasha; paternal grandmother: Charlotte Wise, of Chickasha; uncles: Terry Wise, Tommy Wise, Jim Wise, Jimmy Leon Wise, Bill Sherwood, John Sherwood and Orvil Luther; aunt: Betty Ferrell. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. |

James Robert "Jim Bob" Wise was born April 17, 1982, in Grady County, Oklahoma, and died March 15, 2004, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. James worked as an auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by: Jimmie Leon Wise, Sr., Rustin Ferrell, Jackie Durand, Luther William Taber, Curtis Joe Wise, Jr., Sharon Maxzine Parrott. Survivors include his mother, Ronda Sue Wise of Chickasha: father, Jimmie Leon Wise, Jr., of Wilburton; stepmother, Toni Wise of Wilburton; one sister, Jackie Nicole Wise of Chickasha; grandmother, Charlotte Wise of Chickasha; uncles, Terry Wise, Curtis Wise, Tommy Wise, Jimmie Wise, Jr. II, Floyd Leon Taber; aunts, Betty Ferrell, Mary [Gidget] Wise, Debra Hayes, Nora Ekhoff, Patricia Driskell, Gayla Wise, Kim Wise; and numerous cousins. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
