© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Monday, August 31, 2009 Jacob Aaron Novotny Wilkinson March 28, 1998 ~ August 26, 2009 Funeral service for Jacob Aaron Novotny Wilkinson, 11, of the Chickasha area will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 29, 2009 at the Grand Assembly of God Church. Jacob Aaron Novotny Wilkinson was born March 28, 1998 in Chickasha and died August 26, 2009 at Cement, Oklahoma. Jacob was a fifth grader at Cement Elementary School. He was saved and baptized. He attended Grand Assembly of God Church in Chickasha. He enjoyed four wheeler rides, boat rides, fishing, camping with his Nana and Papa, practical jokes, family and friends. Beginning at 3 months of age, every Saturday morning, Jacob would join his Papa for breakfast at his favorite place to eat, Mama Carol's. Jacob loved John Deere tractors and was an avid O.U. fan. He was an honorary member of the Oklahoma Mustang Car Club and an active participant in Relay For Life. Jacob was an inspiration and hero to all that knew him and knew of him. Survivors include: Father: Aaron Shawn Wilkinson, Mother: Michele Novotny, 1 sister: Jennifer Novotny, 1 brother: Tyler Cleghorn, Grandparents: "Papa" Robert and "Mimi" Dorothy Novotny, Sr., "Nana" Nora and "Papa" Marvin Wilkinson, Aunt Beth [Novotny] and Uncle Carl Williams, Aunt Cheryl Novotny, Uncle Robert Novotny, Jr., Aunt Theresa [Novotny] Norton, Aunt Monica [Novotny] Andrews and Uncle Keith Andrews,Aunt Pam [Novotny] Smith and Uncle Matt Smith, Aunt Angel Novotny, Uncle Chester and Aunt Susan Wilkinson of Newcastle, Uncle Ivan Wilkinson of Cement, Uncle Billy and Aunt Brenda Wilkinson of Cement, Uncle Troy and Aunt Linda Ford of Cement, Uncle JD and Aunt Shirley Thompson of Blanchard, Aunt Retha Thoma of Oklahoma City, and many special cousins that loved him very much. Cousins: Amber Novotny, Scott Novotny, Trent Smith, Tiffany Smith, Rikki Norton, Kari Andrews, Alex Novotny, Alyson Smith, Marissa Andrews, Ryan Novotny, and Tyler Novotny. Many great uncles, aunts and numerous extended family who will miss him, including special friend, Alice Miller. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Make a Wish Foundation, St. Judes, the American Cancer Society or Give the Kids the World. |
