© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Tuesday, November 17, 2009 William "Bob" Wilkerson February 27, 1930 ~ November 14, 2009 Funeral Services for William "Bob" Wilkerson, 79, of Chickasha, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in the Chapel of the Sevier Funeral Home. Bob Wilkerson was born February 27, 1930, in Maud, Okla., to Sidney P. and Lucy Rowena [Cable] Wilkerson and died Saturday, November 14, 2009, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Bob and Geraldine Troup Madison were married on September 4, 1948, and they came to Chickasha in 1960, where he owned and operated Bob's Welding Shop. Geraldine preceded him death on March 4, 1996. He married Cora Harmon on September 25, 1998, in Chickasha. Bob attended the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Verden. Bob is also preceded in death by both parents; a son, Charles Gene Wilkerson, on August 18, 1977; six brothers; and a great-grandson. Surviving family include his wife, Cora Wilkerson of the home; three daughters, Barbara Turner and Husband, Danny of Chickasha, Phyllis Christian and Husband, Allen of Chickasha, Rowena Musick and Companion, James Nunnelee of Chickasha; three sons, Bill Wilkerson and Wife, Karen of Chickasha, Gary Madison and Wife, Marian of Greer, S. C., Jerry Madison of Norman, Okla.; one brother, Paul Wilkerson and wife, Carol of Rowlett, Texas; one sister, Doris Hand of Duncan, Okla.; one sister-in-law, Opal Wilkerson of Washington, Okla.; four stepchildren, Keith Harmon and Wife, Francis of Chickasha, Johnny Harmon and Wife, Jonell of Chickasha, Bonnie McKay of Chickasha, Tommy Harmon and Wife, Shelia of Oklahoma City; 26 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; five step grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; and many Nieces and nephews. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, under the Direction of the Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha. |
