Robert Henry "Bob" Wenholz was born September 22, 1921, and died on Friday, December 6, 2002. Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. © The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma December 8, 2002 September 22, 1921 ~ December 6, 2002 Funeral service for Robert Henry "Bob" Wenholz, 81, of Blanchard, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2002, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Robert Henry "Bob" Wenholz was born September 22, 1921, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Carl Henry and Gertrude [Wits] Wenholz, and died December 6, 2002, in Chickasha. Mr. Wenholz worked for 30 years as a printer. He worked for C. E. Marshall in Chicago, Illinois, and later worked for Ace Kautmann as a printer in Denver,Colorado. Mr. Wenholz moved to Dibble, Oklahoma, in 1977 and worked at Chickasha High School as a custodian for 17 ½ years. He and Sylvia Vance were married July 27, 1974. Mr. Wenholz served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Church of God in Norman. Mr. Wenholz was preceded in death by 2 sons, Don and Allen Wenholz. Survivors include: wife, Sylvia Wenholz of the home; 1 daughter, Gwen George of Dibble, Oklahoma; 3 grandsons: Lonnie Wenholz, Lance Wenholz, and Dennis Wenholz, all of Denver, Colorado; 5 grandchildren of Dibble, Oklahoma: Kimberly and Robert Cole, Kenny Henderson, Karla Henderson, John Watkins, III, Josh Watkins; many great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
