Funeral service for Anna Nadine Wendling, 95, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Nadine Wendling was born September 14, 1915 and died January 2, 2011.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Buddy Eugene Wendling
May 30, 1936 ~ August 29, 1936


Buddy Eugene Wendling, of Chickasha, OK, passed away at his home near Chickasha on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the age of 83. He was born May 30, 1936 in Tabler, Oklahoma to Benjamin Franklin Wendling and Dolline [Jordan] Smith.

Buddy has lived in Chickasha most of his life. He married Alice Jones on April 25, 1958 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He owned and operated The Car Store in Chickasha and hauled hay and did a lot of dirt work and excavation.

He had served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1957 in Hawaii and was a member of the Full Gospel Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Chelsea Taylor in 1992, great-great grandson Baxton Shamblin in 2017; and a sister, Joyce.

Buddy is survived by his wife Alice Wendling; Children: Lisa Thornburg and her husband, Gerald; Monty Wendling and his wife, Dana; Kimberly Taylor and her husband T.L.; and Michelle Huff; Sister, Elaine Hallverson; Grandchildren: Eric, Brian, Jami, Tara, Nathan, Charity, Jared, Derek and Alexis; 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Julia May "Judy" [Dodd] Wendling
October 17, 1939 ~ August 12, 2019


Julia May “Judy” Wendling, of Blanchard, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 in Norman, OK at the age of 80. She was born October 17, 1938 in Crescent, Oklahoma to Clarence Dodd and Helen [Stewart] Wright.

Judy has lived in Grady county her entire life. She married Wayne Wendling on July 24, 1954.

She worked at the Middleberg school cafeteria from 1959 to 1963 and she and Wayne farmed and operated a dairy farm from 1963 to 1997. After 1997, they continued farming and raising cattle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Lester Dodd, George Wright, Jr., Dennis Wright and Jimmy Wright and sisters: Sherrie DeGan and Priscilla LaValla.

Judy is survived by:
• her husband, Wayne Wendling;
• Daughters: Sherrie Wendling Stumpf and her husband, John; Karla Wendling Hurley and her husband, David; and Julie Wendling Lovelady and her husband, Howard; • Sisters: Nevada Willis, Nellie Terry, and Nancy Wright;
• Brother, Gary Wright;
• Stepdad, George Wright;
• 6 grandchildren
• 9 great grandchildren.

Edward Dwayne Wendling
March 8, 1945 ~ May 1, 2011


Funeral service for Edward Dwayne Wendling, 66, of Blanchard, Oklahoma will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Edward Dwayne Wendling was born March 8, 1945 in Chickasha, Oklahoma the son of Theodore Jackson and Ruby Lee [Barbee] Wendling. He died May 1, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Dibble High School in 1963. Edward served in the National Guard for 4 years. He also worked in trailer manufacturing and as a welder in the oilfield. He worked for O.T.A. for 16 years retiring in 2003.

He was preceded in death by: Parents, 1 sister: Mary Frances Wendling.

Survivors include: 1 son: Scott Wendling and wife Brandy of Norman, OK, Granddaughter: Rymington Wendling of Norman, OK, Sister: Leedda Franklin and husband Jerry of Naples, OK, Brother: Wayne Wendling and wife Judy of Dibble, OK. Several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Integris Hospice House, 13920 Quailbrook Dr., Oklahoma City, OK 73134.
