Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Western Hills United Methodist Church, 2820 Laredo Drive, Fort Worth, Texas. Interment: 4 p.m. in Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Okla. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas. Memorials: Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Box 1131, Fairfax, Va. 22038, www.diabetes.org/honor; or Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County, 320 South Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas 76104. Mary was born February 18, 1945, in Verden, Okla. She attended Verden and Chickasha public schools, Central State University in Edmond, Okla., and held a bachelor of arts degree from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation. Mary was preceded in death by her father, John A. McVey; mother, Inez J. McVey; and brother, George C. McVey. Survivors: Loving husband of 42 years, Jerry Warburton; daughter, Shelly Warburton of Carrollton, Texas; son, James Warburton and wife, Amanda, of Duncan, Okla.; brother, John D. McVey of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Janie Woodard and husband, Ken, of Houston, Texas; brother, Stephen McVey and wife, Kathi, of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Jared, David and Alex; and many other loving and loved nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. |
