Juanita [Kennedy] VanSickle
September 3, 1915 ~ June 30, 2005


Juanita Kennedy VanSickle passed away in her Bethany home and went to be with the Lord on June 30, 2005.

She was born to Thomas and Mary [Young] Kennedy on September 3, 1915 in Nashville, Arkansas.

Juanita lived in Bethany for 47 years and worked as a beautician in Bethany from 1958 to 1970. She loved sewing, cooking, gardening and gave freely of her time to her family and friends.

She was a member of Putnam City Baptist Church for 32 years.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Gordie M. VanSickle; her parents; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Patricia Bohanan; son, Howard VanSickle and wife Dianne; daughter, Nancy Coit and husband Lyle; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; step-mother, Ruth Kennedy; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Services will be Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha.
