© Chickasha, Oklahoma May 2016 August 13, 1947 ~ May 21, 2016 Graveside funeral service for Michael Tsonetokoy, age 68 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Pastor Kim Hayes will officiate. Michael was born the son of John Cockrell and Olivia Tsonetokoy Cockrell on August 13, 1947 in Bronx, New York. He died on May 21, 2016 at his home in Chickasha. Michael married Stephanie Burr in 1980. They lived in Lawton for six years before moving to Chickasha. He graduated from Cameron University in 1985. He worked as groundskeeper at Lawton Municipal Golf Course commuting back and forth from Chickasha. Michael then worked as a campus security officer at USAO until retirement. After retirement, he worked on weekends at Campus Corner. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He had an infectious smile, laugh, and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; aunts and uncles; son Michael "Isaac" Tsonetokoy. Survivors include his wife Stephanie of Chickasha; daughter Mary Tsonetokoy of Norman; son Micah Tsonetokoy of Chickasha; son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Anne Tsonetokoy of Chickasha; daughter and son-in-law Magdalene and Blain Perry of Chickasha; granddaughter Kaylani Perry of Chickasha. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. |

Michael Isaas Tsonetokoy was born the son of Michael Tsonetokoy and Stephanie Joan Burr Tsonetokoy on August 17, 1984 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He died on February 2, 2006, at his home in Chickasha. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Isaac moved to Chickasha in 1986. He graduated from Chickasha High School in 2003, and was a member of the band for seven years. Isaac was on the American Honor Society and the National Honor Society during high schol. He was a sophomore at U.S.A.O. and a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. Isaac worked at the Braum's store in Chickasha for five years. He was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wayne Burr, paternal grandmother, Olivia Cochrell, and paternal grandfather, John Cochrell. Survivors include: parents: Michael & Stephanie Tsonetokoy of the home; brother: Micah Tsonetokoy of the home; brother: Matthew Tsonetokoy of the home; sister: Mary Tsonetokoy of Chickasha, sister: Maggie Tsonetokoy of the home; grandparents: Mary Ann & Johnnie Craig of Hays, Kansas; aunt Cindy Cross of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; aunt & uncle: Barbara & Mark Walters of Liberty, Missouri; aunt: Amy Burr of Hays, Kansas, aunt: Kandra Craig of Denver, Colorado; uncle: Jason Craig of Columbia, South Carolina; aunt: Latrelle Lee of Lawton; aunt: Hope Ramos of Latwon; numerous cousins.
