Lavada Townsel died Tuesday, January 11, 2005, in Lawton, Okla., following a lengthy illness. © The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma January 17, 2005 December 24, 1905 ~ January 11, 2005 Funeral services LaVada Townsel, 99, of Chickasha, Okla., were held at 11 a.m., on Monday, January 17, 2005, in New Hope Baptist Church. Dr. C. W. Whitlow officiated. LaVada Townsel was born December 24, 1905, in Hennepin, Okla., and died on Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at her residence, following a lengthy illness. Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Fletcher-Jefferson Funeral Chapel. |
