Funeral services for Lavada Townsel, 99, of Chickasha, Okla., are pending with Fletcher-Jefferson Funeral Chapel.

Lavada Townsel died Tuesday, January 11, 2005, in Lawton, Okla., following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services LaVada Townsel, 99, of Chickasha, Okla., were held at 11 a.m., on Monday, January 17, 2005, in New Hope Baptist Church. Dr. C. W. Whitlow officiated.

LaVada Townsel was born December 24, 1905, in Hennepin, Okla., and died on Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at her residence, following a lengthy illness.

Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Fletcher-Jefferson Funeral Chapel.
