Effie Faye [Riggins] Stovall
January 7, 1922 ~ April 20, 2006


Effie Faye Stovall, of Yukon, OK, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Integris Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City, OK. She was born January 7, 1922 in Dill City, OK, the daughter of the late James and Florence [Clark] Riggins.

She married Glen Stovall on August 10, 1940, sharing over 45 years of marriage before his death on February 27, 1986.

With a career in education, Effie was a speech therapist, teaching in various schools in Oklahoma.

A member of the Church of Christ - South Yukon, she was also a member of the Oklahoma Retired Teachers Association and Tops and Kops.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by four siblings.

Effie is survived by two daughters, Aneta Kaye West and husband Mitchell of Edmont, OK and Glenda Schoonmaker and husband Jack of Lake Havasu City, AZ; four grandchildren, Robbie West of Slaughtervlle, OK, Stacey Zoll of Austin, TX, David Schoonmaker of Redondo Beach, CA and Shelly Schoonmaker of Lake Havasu City, AZ and five great grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler West, Anderson Zoll and Skylar and Jack Schoonmaker.

Funeral services will be held at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 24th, with Richard May officiating.

Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha. OK.

Arrangements under the direction of Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK.

Gayla Stovall was born November 20, 1963 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Sandra Lynn and Eddie Cape. She passed away June 1, 2007 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 43 years, 6 months and 11 days.

Services will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Grandview Assembly of God Church officiated by Mark Little and Andy Taylor.

Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service, Elk City.
