© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma August 16, 2004 September 17, 1917 ~ August 14, 2004 Loraine Mae Foster Stine was born to John Henry and Martha McDaniel on September 17, 1917, in Seminole County, Oklahoma. She passed away on August 14, 2004, at Christian Care Nursing Center in Chickasha, OK. She married Harry Foster in 1939. They built and managed the 81 Motel that was located on South Fourth Street in Chickasha. He preceded her in death in 1964. She married Wilbur Stine in 1968 and noved to El Reno, Oklahoma, where she resided until November of 2003, when she returned to Chickasha. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Maxine Jarvis, and granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Foster. Survivors include her husband Wilbur Stine, of Chickasha; a daughter, Carolyn Wier and her husband Roy of Tuttle, OK; a son, John Roger Foster, and his wife Louise of Chickasha; 3 grandsons: John Wier and his wife Teresa, of Stillwater, OK, John Foster and his wife Debra of Tuttle, OK, and Christopher Foster of Oklahoma City; a granddaughter, Sheryl Bowman and her husband Terry Carpenter of Chickasha; and great grandchildren Luke and Ashley Wier, and Rhiannon Bowman. Services will be held at Ellison Avenue Methodist Church in El Reno, OK, Tuesday, August 17, 2004, at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery at Chickasha, OK, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Chickasha. |
