© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma March 13, 2011 Linda June [Copeland] Steagall March 25, 1944 ~ March 11, 2011 Funeral service for Linda June Steagall, age 66 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011, in the Family Life Center of Epworth United Methodist Church. Dr. Rockford Johnson will officiate. Linda June was born the daughter of Roy Copeland and Linnie Shelton Copeland on March 25, 1944 in Borger, Texas. She died on March 11, 2011, at her home in Chickasha. Linda grew up in Borger, Texas and graduated from Borger High School. While in Borger, Linda married Barry Steagall on February 28, 1966. After their marriage, they moved to Liberal, Kansas. In August of 1979, they moved to Chickasha. The joy of her life was raising her family. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. Linda also had a love for music. She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Linnie Copeland and daughter, Jana Steagall. Survivors include: Husband: Barry Steagall of Chickasha, Son & Wife: David B. & Keri Ann Steagall of Ft. Worth, Texas, Daughter & Husband: Becky & Charles Wren of Oklahoma City, Grandson: Holden Wren of Oklahoma City, Grandson: Zach Wren of Oklahoma City, Granddaughter: Gracie Steagall of Ft. Worth, Texas, Granddaughter: Lauren Steagall of Ft. Worth, Texas. Numerous Other Family. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. |
