© Chickasha Express~Star Chickasha, Oklahoma January 19, 2005 Eva Nell [Bailey] Smith March 25, 1926 ~ January 17, 2005 Funeral service for Eva Nell Smith, 78, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2005 at the Bible Baptist Church, Chickasha. Eva Nell Smith was born March 25, 1926 in Cement, Oklahoma the daughter of Homer Belton and Opal Fay [Crumm] Bailey. She took her sweet leave on January 17, 2005. *She and R. B. Smith were married July 3, 1946 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, and they moved back to Chickasha in 1962. A wife, a mother, a sister and grandmother twice over, she was always a dear friend to those who knew her. Kindhearted and wise, she will always remain in our hearts and lives. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. B. Smith; parents, Homer and Opal Bailey; and brother, Belton Bailey. Survivors include her children, Linda Lewis and Paul of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Duane Smith and Cheryl of Sterling Heights, Michigan; Kim Smith and Fonda of Duncan, Oklahoma; Sand Wood of Chickasha, Oklahoma; one sister, Joan Hoffman, one brother, Jim Bailey, grandchildren, Cory Miller, Tyler Smith, Analisa Lewis, Amy Anderson, Brandon Wood, Lane Lewis and Lindsay Smith; and one great grandchild, Hayden Anderson. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
