Bobby Lee Smith was born April 8, 1933, in Wilburton, Okla., and died on Saturday, June 12, 2004, in Oklahoma City, Okla. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. © The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma June 15, 2004 April 8, 1933 ~ June 12, 2004 Funeral service for Bobby "Bob" Lee Smith, 71, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at the Full Gospel Church. Bobby "Bob" Lee Smith was born April 8, 1933, in Wilburton, Oklahoma, the son of George and Bessie Florence [Odonnell] Smith, and died June 12, 2004, in Oklahoma City. Mr. Smith was raised in Wilburton, Oklahoma. He moved to Mountain View in 1959, where he worked at Mountain View News. In 1983 he moved to Chickasha where he met and married Margie on April 8, 1985. He spent his days doing crafts, working in his yard, and visiting with friends and family. He loved to dance and have fun with his friends. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mountain View. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Sam Smith, one sister, Betty Wade. Survivors include his wife, Margie Smith, of the home; daughters, Vickie Lopez of Mountain View, Oklahoma, Darla Perry of Thomas, Oklahoma, Karla Bollman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Randi Dee Ann Wheeler of Edmond, Oklahoma; stepsons, Richard Alcorn of Chickasha, Robert Alcorn of Chickasha, Ronnie Alcorn of Chickasha, Reford Alcorn of Chickasha, Randy Alcorn of Minnesota, Roy Alcorn of Chickasha; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
