Lois L. "Granny" [Lehew] Cates Sharpe
August 25, 1918 ~ September 4, 2007


Funeral service for Lois L. Cates Sharpe "Granny" will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday September 8, 2007 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Lois L. Cates Sharpe "Granny" was born August 25, 1918 at Bokchito, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Isom and Martha Ann [Bettis] Lehew. She died Tuesday September 4, 2007 in Chickasha.

She and John C. Cates were married in 1936, he preceded her in death. She married Ed Sharpe in 1960, he also preceded her in death.

She loved Bingo and going to Las Vegas. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her parents, four brothers Warren Gene, Floyd, Tommy, Lewis and Haskel Lehew, Three sisters and three son-in-laws also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son: Sonny Cates and wife Patsy of Chickasha; two daughters: JoAnn Lewis of Moore; Sharon Stephens of Chickasha; Son: Ronnie Lehew and wife; Vickie of Blanchard; two brothers: Manuel Lehew of Lawton; Robert Lehew of Magnolia, Texas; grandchildren: Donna Davidson, Tina Young, Sherri Amerson, Lise` Lewis, Leslie Lewis, Linda Sells and Larry Lewis. several great- grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Numerous Nephews, Nieces and other relatives including special friend Pauline McMillin.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
