Seamans, 86, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 14, 2006 at the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha. Margery P. Seamans was born May 10, 1920 in Webster City, Iowa the daughter of William and Nina [Gue] Pixley and died July 9, 2006 in Oklahoma City. Margery was a graduate of Northern Iowa University and was a teacher. She and Eldon Lorenzo Seamans were married June 17, 1945 in Montrose, Iowa. He preceded her in death December 18, 2000. Margery was a member of the PEO and a former member of the First Presbyterian Church in Chickasha. She was alos preceded in death by: one daughter: Cynthia Seamans December 1, 1998. Survivors include: two sons: Geoffrey Seamans and wife, Nan, of Iowa City, Iowa; Greg Seamans and wife, Paula, of Neosho, Missouri; one daughter: Susan Seamans of Oklahoma City; one sister: Edna Pixley of Iowa City, Iowa. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
