Lola Lee [Rhoades] Rogers
May 9, 1929 ~ May 16, 2009


Graveside services for Lola Lee Rogers, 80, of Chickasha will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 10:30 am in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, Oklahoma with Glen Orndorff officiating and Jerry Rogers assisting.

Lola Lee Rogers was born May 9, 1929 in Colony, Oklahoma the daughter of Luther Rhoades and Irene Bennett Rhoades. She died Saturday May 16, 2009 at her home in Chickasha.

Lola was born in Colony, Oklahoma and later moved to Carnegie, Oklahoma graduating from Carnegie High School in 1947.

She married Winston Rogers in August of 1967, in Decatur, Texas. They later moved to Chickasha where she was employed with a café, nursing home, Baggett Machine and Pet Milk.

Lola enjoyed being involved in a Chickasha bowling league, crocheting, canning, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her family will miss her homemade peanut brittle that she made for everyone around the holiday seasons.

Her husband Winston preceded her in death on November 6, 1996. Also preceding her were her parents, sister Louse Schmidt, and nephew James Robert Schmidt.

She is survived by her three daughters: Barbara Hewes of Lindsay, Oklahoma, Brenda Nunely of Arizona and Cynthia McKenna of Virginia Sons: Arnold McDaniel of Lexington, Kentucky and Joe McDaniel of the home. Ten grandchildren: Seventeen great-grandchildren: and one great-great grandchildren; Niece and husband Judy and Kenny Wall of Fort Cobb, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Kitty M. [Parr] Rogers
October 11, 1925 ~ April 3, 2009


Graveside services for Kitty M. Rogers, 83, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in the Fairlawn Cemetery.

Kitty M. Rogers was born October 11, 1925, in Sentinal, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jess Parr and Fannie James Parr. She died Friday, April 3, 2009, in Chickasha.

Kitty grew up outside Lindsay, Oklahoma, where she graduated from High School.

She married Don Rogers on October 7, 1946, in Henrietta, Texas. To this union they were blessed with two daughters, Gwendolyn and Angela.

She has lived in Chickasha since 1971.

Kitty enjoyed dancing, gardening, sewing and painting.

She was preceded in death by both parents and her husband Don Rogers.

Survivors include two daughters; Gwendolyn Rogers, of Carrizozo, New Mexico and Angela Rogers, of Chickasha; one grandson, Clay Myers, of Grapevine, Texas; one granddaughter, Staci Leverington, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one great-granddaughter, Jaci Webster and one great-grandson, Kelly Webster, both of Tulsa.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
