Robbie Robison was born January 11, 1925, in Wetumka, Okla. He died Wednesday, October 1, 2003, in Chickasha. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery Under the direction of the Ferguson Funeral Home. © The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma October 3, 2003 Coleman "Robbie" Robison January 11, 1925 ~ October 1, 2003 Funeral services for Coleman "Robbie" Robison, 78, of Chickasha, will be held Saturday, October 4, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with Kim Hayes officiating. Robbie Robison was born January 11, 1925, in Wetumka, Oklahoma, son of Henry and Ruby L. [Mareraves] Robison. He died October 1, 2003, in Chickasha. Robbie was reared in the Seminole-Wetumka area and graduated from Seminole High School. He came to Chickasha in the 1950's and married Theda Chleo Farmer on July 3, 1957, under a cottonwood tree in Verden. The tree died, but the marriage lived on for just over forty-six years, till Theda died on July 12, 2003. During his early working years, Robbie had several jobs, including working at Wards and selling cars at Hayes-Thompson Chevrolet. He owned and operated several businesses in Chickasha and other places, including Robbie's Barbecue, a Cafe at Norge, and being a gasoline retailer at Robbie's Texaco at 6th and Kansas. Robbie was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by both parents, his brother, Kenneth Robison, and his wife, Theda. Survivors include on son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Gayla Robison of Burleson, TX.; one daughter and son-in-law, Maxine and Donald O'Briant, of Chickasha; one brother and sister-in-law, Noble and Lillian Robison, of Edmond, OK.; one sister, Janie Robison of Buffalo, OK.; four grandsons and spouses: Kenneth Robison, Jr., of Burleson, TX., Grant Aldridge of Oklahoma City, Gary and Donna Aldridge of Chickasha, and Brady and Angela O'Briant of Weatherford, OK; two granddaughters and spouses: Jennifer and Mike Jones of Mansfield, TX; and April and Mike Bevill, of Chickasha; thirteen wonderful great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter, expected to arrive this month. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
© Ferguson Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma July 25, 2016 John Lee Robison October 25, 1930 ~ July 26, 2016 John Lee Robison was born on October 25, 1930 on a farm near Princeton, Kansas to Byron Roth Robison and Birdene [Hoffman] Robison. He died on July 26, 2016 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. John grew up one of five children and had two sisters, Marge and Rea, and two brothers, Wayne and Dean. He attended Acorn grade school and Williamsburg High School. He was very active in 4-H and FFA. He married Martha Fredricks on June 23, 1951 in Ottawa, Kansas and they were together for 65 years and raised three sons, Rodney, David and Kevin. While living on a farm, John also worked at Ottawa Steel. They moved to Chickasha, Oklahoma in 1962. He worked for New Holland, a farm equipment company as a dealer representative. Since his retirement, He and Martha enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing. John was preceded in death by both parents, one brother, Wayne Robison and one sister, Marge Willhite. Survivors are his wife, Martha, of the home; sons and their wives, Rodney and Terri Robison of Germantown, Tennessee, David and Dara Robison of Piedmont, and Kevin and Brenda Robison of Chickasha; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Rea Weigand of Ottawa, Kansas; one brother, Dean Robison of Hutchinson, Kansas; and other extended family and friends. Funeral services for John Lee Robison, 85, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 in the Ferguson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mike Rodgers officiating.Interment in Fairlawn Cemetery. |
