[Jantz] Rich October 5, 1960 ~ November 29, 2005 Funeral services for Sandra Rich, 45, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2005, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Wray officiating. Sandra Rich was born October 5, 1960, in Chickasha, the daughter of Lincoln and Lois (Haile) Jantz. She died Tuesday November 29, 2005, in Chickasha. Sandra grew up in Chickasha. She attended Chickasha Public Schools, graduating from Chickasha High School in 1978. She married the love of her life, David Rich, on June 6, 1981. This union blessed them with two sons: Brandon and Derek. They were married for 24 years. She worked for Chickasha Public Schools, until her health prevented her from working. She enjoyed working with the students, and was always happy to be able to share time and experiences with them. She enjoyed reading and watching movies, especially comedy and ghost stories. Sandra was a very devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She put her family and friends first. She was a truly remarkable person, and was always there to lend a hand, share a secret, or just offer a smile to brighten your day. She is preceded in death by her father, Lincoln Jantz. She is survived by her husband, David Rich, of the home; two sons: Brandon Rich, of Lawton and Derek Rich, of the home; mother, Lois Jantz, of Chickasha; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Sue and Larry McCoy and Brenda and Allen Martin, of Chickasha and Linda and Jerry Koehn, of Canton, Kansas; brother and sister-in-law: Jamie and Carolyn Jantz, of Norge; mother-in-law, Beverly Cox, of Milwaukie, Oregon; numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
