© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma May 6, 2010 April 1, 1934 ~ May 2, 2010 Funeral Mass for Carl Anthony Rempe, 76, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Holy Name Catholic Church. Wake service will be held Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Carl Anthony Rempe was born April 1, 1934, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of Carl Joseph and Catherine [Devine] Rempe. He died May 2, 2010 in Chickasha. Carl grew up in Chickasha. He graduated from St. Joseph Academy High School and then served in the U.S. Army. He and Rita Mary O'Donnell were married May 28, 1962. He and Rita, with their daughters, lived and worked the family farm north of Chickasha. Carl also worked as a tractor-agriculture machinery mechanic and a driller in the oilfield. He was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Carl enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by: Father: Carl Joseph Rempe, Sister: Helen Rempe. Survivors include: Wife: Rita Rempe of the home, four daughters: Dianne Hudson and husband, Robbie, of Stillwater, OK, Rita Mary Rempe of Stillwater, OK, Tina Smith and husband, Don, of Chickasha, OK, Carleen Zacher of Stillwater, OK, Mother: Catherine Rempe of Chickasha, OK , Brothers and sisters: Charles Rempe and wife, Ruth Ann of Norge, OK, Betty Lagaly and husband, Lawrence, of Union City, OK, Theresa Rempe of Chickasha, OK, Mary Catherine Rempe of Chickasha, OK, Robert Rempe and wife, Jeanie of Verden, OK, Edward Rempe of Chickasha, OK, Donald Rempe of Chickasha, OK , Grandsons: Matthew Terrell Hudson, Justin Carl Hudson, Thomas Anthony Zacher, Granddaughter: Corian "Corky" Zacher. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
