© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Monday, January 16, 2006 November 7, 1912 ~ January 15, 2006 Graveside service for Dorothy Marie Putt, 93, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at the Fairlawn Cemetery. Dorothy Marie Putt was born November 7, 1912 in Chickasha, Oklahoma the fifth child of W. L. "Pete" and Minnie Rose and died January 15, 2006 in Chickasha. She married Arthur K. Putt of Akron, Ohio in Chickasha the 14th of August 1930. He preceded her in death in 1992. For the past ten years she has resided in the Alterra/Sterling House in Chickasha. She was a beautician and worked at Washita Beauty Shop. Dorothy was a member of the Southern Oaks Church of Christ. Survivors include: one niece: Wanda Schafer of Collinsville; three nephews: Monte Mount of Lubbock, Texas; Michael Rose of Oklahoma City; Thomas Rose of Chickasha; numerous cousins. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
