Graveside service for French Pershing Patterson, age 87, of Chickasha will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 5, 2006, in the Fairlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Patterson was born the son of John Thomas Patterson and Nora Belle Harper Patterson on October 5, 1918 in Bradley, Oklahoma. He died on April 1, 2006, at his home in Bradley, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral service for Thelma Beets Patterson, age 83, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2007, in Fairlawn Cemetery. Rev. Johnny Wray officiated.

Thelma was born the daughter of George Busby and Rosie Elder Busby on October 6, 1923, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She died on February 23, 2007, in Chickasha.

Service was under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.

Anita Jean [Givens] Patterson
January 12, 1943 ~ March 2004


Graveside funeral service for Anita Jean Givens-Patterson, 61, of Long Beach, CA, will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery.

Anita Jean Patterson was born to Burley and Eula Mae Givens on January 12, 1943, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She attended and graduated from Lincoln High School. She was united in marriage to Leon Patterson. From this union four children were born. Anita Jean spent her working days at John Muir Elementary School, and also caring for the elderly.

Jean, as she was known to most, was a loving and caring daughter, mother, sister, and friend to many. She loved caring for people, expecially the little children she spent her days with. She will be truly missed by every one whose life she has touched and left a print on.

Anita is preceded in death by her mother, Eula Mae Givens.

Anita is survived by: her husband, Leon Patterson; sons: Leon L. Patterson of South Carolina, David L. Patterson of California, Michael O. Patterson of Arkansas; one daughter, Rose M. Patterson of Texas; and ten grandchildren. She is also survived by her father Burly Givens of Chickasha, OK; two sisters; Burlene Ellis of Long Beach, CA, and Wanda Doris Moore of San Bernardino, CA; one brother, Burley Fred Givens, of Chickasha, OK; and a host of dear nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Services are under the directly of Brown/Christian Funeral Home.
