Jack Allen Paramore
December 27, 1922 ~ September 27, 2009


Graveside service for Jack Allen Paramore, 86, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha. Family visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, at Sevier Funeral Home.

Jack Allen Paramore was born December 27, 1922 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the son of Dean and Gertrude [Weller] Paramore and died September 27, 2009.

He and Maleta F. Sanders were married June 26, 1942 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma.

Jack started work in the family business, "Paramore Signs" with his father and brother. He also worked for Public Service as a lineman and was a licensed electrical contractor.

Jack served in the U.S. Army as a medical technician. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Jack was also Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, and was a longtime ham operator.

He was preceded in death by: Parents, 2 brothers: Leroy and Dean.

Survivors include: Wife: Maleta Paramore of Chickasha, OK, 4 nieces: Peggy Forbis and husband, Gary, of Tuttle, OK, Deanna Manning and husband, Michael, of Yorba Linda, CA, Pamela Seals-Potter and husband, Aaron, of Oklahoma City, OK, Carolyn Blevins of Lenexa, KS, 1 nephew: Gary Blevins and wife, Cyndi, of Weed, CA, Great nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Maleta Faye [Sanders] Paramore
September 3, 1924 ~ April 22, 2020


Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2020 at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 5400 N. Grand Blvd., Suite 255, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.

Maleta Faye Paramore, of Chickasha, OK, was born on September 3, 1924 [according to her birth certificate] but October 3, 1924 [according to her family] in Anadarko OK]

She was the daughter of Leonard and Belva [Alsup] Sanders. She passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 95.

After graduation from Chickasha High School, she moved to Whittier, CA for a few years before returning to Oklahoma.

She and Jack Allen Paramore were married June 26, 1942 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma.

Maleta worked for Public Service as a bookkeeper for many years before retiring.

She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Chickasha and in her earlier years played the piano for her Sunday school class.

She enjoyed playing solitaire, going out to eat, feeding and watching the birds and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents; and a sister, Anna Mae Blevins.

Maleta is survived by her nieces: Peggy Forbis and husband, Gary, of Tyler, TX; Deanna Manning and husband, Michael, of Yorba Linda, CA; Pamela Seals-Potter and husband, Aaron, of New Braunfels, TX; Carolyn Blevins of Chickasha, OK; Nephew, Gary Blevins and wife, Cyndi, of Weed, CA; And her great nieces and nephews.
