Funeral service for Edith Edra Orr, 89, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 2, 2003 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Orr was born May 22, 1914, and died September 29, 2003.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Edith Edra Orr, 89, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 2, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Edith Edra Orr was born May 22, 1914, in Tabler, Oklahoma, the daughter of James and Annie Louella [McMasters] Woodard and died September 29, 2003, in Chickasha.

Mrs. Orr lived in Grady County most of her life.

She was a member of the Southern Oaks Church of Christ.

Mrs. Orr was preceded in death by: Parents: 1 daughter: Sandra Kay Lightner, 1 sister: Thelma Nance.

Survivors include: 2 sons: Dick Bruce Orr and wife, Yvonne, of McCloud, Okla homa, Jim Lynn Orr of Chickasha; 3 sisters: Hazel Taylor of Tabler, Oklahoma, Helene Waldron of Tabler, Corene Black of Chickasha; Son-in-law: Darrell Lightner of Chickasha; 8 grandchildren including: Melissa Lightner and Trevor Lightner of Chickasha; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including: Genny & Tim Christian; Special best friend: Eureka Julian.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Jimmy Lynn Orr
August 30, 1950 ~ April 14, 2009


Graveside services for Jimmy Lynn Orr, age 58, of Chickasha will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 25 at Fairlawn Cemetery. Rob Carroll to officiate.

Jimmy was born August 30, 1950, in Chickasha, the son of Robert and Edith [Brunt] Orr. He died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 in Chickasha.

Jimmy lived in Oregon for a short time and moved back to Oklahoma graduating from Moore High School in 1968.

He loved to fish, hunt, collect baseball cards and was an avid OU fan.

Jimmy was preceded in death by both his parents, his sister, Sandy Lightner, and four beloved aunts He leaves behind his brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Yvonne Orr of Bethel Acres, "a second mom", Eureka Julian of Chickasha, close cousins, Tim Christian and Jerry Taylor both of Chickasha, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends from Oklahoma City and Chickasha
