Sgt Lewis Milton Ogle
July 15, 1943 ~ November 1, 1967


Funeral services of Sgt. Lewis M. Ogle were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Amber High School by Rev. Max Dowling assisted by Rev. Calvin Eason.

Sgt. Ogle died November 1 in Vietnam. He was born June 15, 1943 in Chickasha and graduated from Amber High School. He entered the Army August 29, 1966 and was made sergeant of Company A 27 Inf. 25 Div. He had served nine months in Vietnam.

Survivors are his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Ogle, Amber; one brother Sammie L., Clinton; three sisters, Mrs. June Ricks, Chickasha, Mrs. Wylma Hooks, Ft. Worth, and Mrs. Jean Corley, Denver; grandmothers, Mrs. Jessie Ogle, Chickasha and Mrs. Ellen Butler, California.

Interment was in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
