Frances Lorene [Carroll] Novotny


Funeral service for Frances L. Novotny, 75, of Pocasset, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2004, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Frances L. Novotny was born October 20, 1928, in Texas, the daughter of Floyd and Olivia (Boatwright) Carroll, and died January 15, 2004, at her home in Pocasset.

She and John V. Novotny were married June 4, 1947. He preceded her in death in 2000. Mrs. Novotny was also preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: 3 daughters: Elizabeth White of Norman, Oklahoma, Debbie Oberhauser of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Cindy Swopes of Tuttle, Oklahoma; 3 sons: Bob Novotny of Pocasset, Oklahoma, John V. Novotny, Jr., of Verden, Oklahoma, Dennis Novotny of Pocasset, Oklahoma; 3 sisters: Dorothy Carroll of Oklahoma City, Mary Gross of Minco, Oklahoma, Robbie Turner of Oklahoma City; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
