© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Wednesday, May 27, 2009 ~ Friday, May 29, 2009 May 10, 1919 ~ May 24, 2009 Graveside services for Clenon Alvis [CA] Muchmore, 90, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 28, 2009 in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma.CA. Muchmore was born May 10, 1919 in Willis, Oklahoma to Hugh J. and Minnie [Looney] Muchmore and died Sunday May 24, 2009 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. CA and Dorothy Marie Andrews were married on October 10, 1937 in Shay, Oklahoma, and they moved to the Chickasha area in 1939. He was a truck driver for Glass Transportation and Sequoyah Carpet Mills. He was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946. He was a member of Michigan Avenue Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by both parents, wife; Dorothy Marie in March of 2001, 2 brothers; Hubert Muchmore and Alton Muchmore, and one sister; Vera Riley.Surviving family includes; 3 Sons; Danny Muchmore and Dee Ricky Muchmore and wife Karen Shane Muchmore and Maggie, 3 Grandchildren: Tiffany Mitchell and husband, Brian Nicholas Muchmore, Christopher Muchmore. 4 Great-Grandchildren; Trinity Howell, Corbin Howell, Kally Mitchell, Kye Mitchell, 5 Sisters: Iona Remenic, Katie Mae Page, Merle Newman, Mildred Goodwyn, Parthena Southerland. A life long friend and companion: Eureka Julian. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma under the direction of the Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, Oklahoma. |
