Dennis Edward Morris
March 20, 1972 ~ October 2, 2006


James A. Morris, 76, of Nocona, Texas, passed away Monday, October 2, 2006.

Dennis Edward Morris was born to Cathryn Marie [Doshier] and Jimmy Barton Morris on March 20, 1972 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He moved to Alex in 1985 from Chickasha and graduated from Alex High School in 1990. He served in the Army during Desert Storm and was currently self-employed and starting a welding business. Dennis married Kimberly Kay Wood on June 23, 2000 in Chickasha. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Dennis loved his family, he will be missed by all his family and friends very much.

He passed away April 17, 2007 in Oklahoma City at 35 years of age.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Kay Morris of Alex; daughters, Hailey and Maddlyne both of the home; step-son Hunter Garrett of Chickasha; mother Cathy Armstrong of Alex; brothers Wade Morris of Chickasha, Jay Morris of Baltimore, Maryland, Michael Morris of Norman; sister, Tammy Morris of Chickasha; other relatives and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Morris.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2007 in the Alex High School Auditorium. Reverend Kim Hayes will officiate with interment held in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha. Arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
