Graveside service for Joseph Bernard McCormick, 80, of Chickasha, will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2003, at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha.

McCormick was born on April 10, 1923, and died on November 29, 2003.

Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home of Chickasha.

Bessie Ida Irene [Ryans] McCormick
December 16, 1922 ~ January 12, 2009


Graveside service for Bessie Ida Irene McCormick, age 86 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Rev. Edward Whitley will officiate.

Bessie was born the daughter of Elzie Elis Ryans and Bertha Anna Pelzer Ryans on December 16, 1922, in Mountain Park, Oklahoma. She died on January 12, 2009, at her home in Chickasha.

Bessie was raised south of Verden. She lived there until her marriage to Joseph Bernard McCormick on November 19, 1945, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. They were married for fifty-eight years.

In 1968, she moved to Chickasha. She was a member of the Naples Baptist Church.

Having no children Bessie had three nieces and one nephew and a lot of grand nieces and nephews. After a lifetime of happiness, she will surely be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and her husband in 2003.

Survivors include: Several Nieces and Nephews. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
