April 5, 1947 ~ March 2, 2004


Funeral service for Doil Junior May, 56, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2004, at the Naples Missionary Baptist Church. Doil Junior May was born April 5, 1947, in Chickasha, the son of Doil Matthew and Mary Ann [Boggess] May, and died March 2, 2004, in Oklahoma City, OKlahoma.

Doil graduated from Chickasha High School. He served in the Chickasha National Guard. Doil worked for Stidham and Linville Horse Trailers and was a mechanic at Goodyear in Chickasha. He did his own work on pool tables and amusement games.

Doil was a member of the Naples Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Chickasha Eagle Lodge #4070.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kenneth May and Robert Lyndal May.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Kay May of the home; two sons, Doil Dewayne May and wife, Tammy, of Roland, Oklahoma, and Kenneth Leon May and wife, Shelly, of Atoka, Oklahoma; one daughter, Loretta Tate and husband, Steve, of Bennington, Oklahoma; two stepsons, Kenneth Ellifritt of Texas, and Steven Ellifritt and wife, Michelle, of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Louise Johnson of Chickasha, and Kaye Cook and husband, Dale, of Norman; a special cousin, Glen and Loretta Jackson, of Chickasha; and eight grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of SevierFuneral Home.

Kenneth Shane May
June 16, 1971 ~ September 1, 2006


Kenneth Shane May, 35, of Broken Arrow, died Friday, September 1, 2006 as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Shane was born June 16, 1971 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Brenda Hicks May.

Shane was a Pharmacist at Med-E Drug for 12 years.

He graduated from Chickasha High School with honors in 1989 and from Southwestern State College School of Pharmacy in 1994.

Shane was an avid sports fan, who loved the Oklahoma Sooners, New York Yankees, and fantasy football.

He was a devoted and loving father and husband, a loyal employee, and a brother's best friend.

He is survived by his wife Amy of the home, children, Kelly (15), Brandon (13), and Haley (6); mother and step-father, Brenda and Victor Cook of Coleman, Oklahoma; brother Shawn May and wife, Melanie of Tulsa; and sister, Misty May Wilson and husband, Keith of Chickasha; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Shane was preceded in death by: father, Kenneth May, and grandparents, Doil and Mary May, and D. L. and Mildred Hicks

Services to be held Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel in Tulsa.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha.
