© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma December 5, 2010 March 26, 1985 ~ December 5, 2010 Funeral service for James Harvey Marker, 25, of Cherokee, Okla., will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Bible Baptist Church, Chickasha. Marker was born March 26, 1985, and died December 5, 2010 in Cherokee. He was born and raised in the Chickasha area. James graduated from Ninnekah High School. He was employed by Alfalfa County Feeders of Cherokee and worked with the ranch rodeo team of Alfa Feeders. He placed second at the Ranch Rodeo in Oklahoma City. James was recently engaged in September to Jacklyn Highfill of Cherokee. She is attending college in Weatherford. He left behind a good working horse and dog. Survivors include fiance', Jacklyn Highfill of Cherokee, Okla.; mother, Brenda Rodgers of the Chickasha area; stepfather, Jerry Rodgers of the Chickasha area; three sisters, Carmalita Trammell of Chickasha, [Ellen] Michelle Marker of Chickasha, Candace Marker of Chickasha; two brothers, Harve Lumpkin of the Chickasha area, Chris Marker of the Chickasha area; many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and many loved ones and friends. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
