© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma April 17 & 18, 2009 Dannie Joe Mallouf June 25, 1943 ~ April 15, 2009 Funeral service for Dannie Joe Mallouf, 65, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2009 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Pastor David Thompson of the First Lutheran Church of Chickasha will be officiating. Dannie Joe Mallouf was born June 25, 1943 in Chickasha, Oklahoma the son of Jack and Ona [McLain] Mallouf. He died April 15, 2009 in Chickasha. Dannie attended Chickasha Public Schools and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1961. He attended Tulsa University where he played football for the Golden Hurricanes. Dannie served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He and Marilyn Francis were married August 2, 1968 in Norman, Oklahoma where they lived until they returned to Chickasha in 1972. Dannie took over the Catwalk Boot and Shoe Repair Shop that his father started in 1936. He coached mighty might football for 8 years. He was active in the Elks Lodge where he served as Exalted Ruler and won numerous awards on the Ritual Team. Dannie was a devoted grandfather and loved spending time with family and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jackie Mallouf and one grandson Mikel Joe Mallouf II. Survivors include: Wife: Marilyn Faye Mallouf of the home, 2 sons: Rob Mallouf of Chickasha and daughters Amanda and Reagan, Mikel Mallouf and wife Lisa of Edmond, and sons Blake and Trevor, 1 brother: Jerry Mallouf and wife Barbara of Denton, TX, 1 brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Dale and Sharon Roper of Lawton, Nephews: Jack and Amy Mallouf of Flower Mound, TX, John and Chrissy Mallouf of Denton, TX, Brendan and Sherri Roper of Cement, OK, Shannon and Camille Roper of Oklahoma City, Niece: Stephanie and Danny Miles of Irving, TX. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
