Jerry W. Lowrey was born April 6, 1949, and died on August 3, 2003. © The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma August 5, 2003 April 6, 1949 ~ August 3, 2003 Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Lowrey, age 54, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2003, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Bennie Matthews will officiate, and Rev. Alice Wendling will assist. Jerry Wayne Lowrey was born the son of Clarence C. Lowrey and Mable Ila Cornelius Lowrey on April 6, 1949, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He died on August 3, 2003, in Chickasha. Jerry lived in Chickasha all of his life. He became disabled at a very young age and was only able to attend school through the first grade. Though disabled most of his life, he was well known and loved by his neighbors. Jerry walked every day and became close to his neighborhood friends who took special interest in looking out for him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Kenneth and Everett Lowrey. Survivors include: sister and husband, Lila and R. V. Munn of Williston, Florida; sister, Joyce Richardson of Chickasha; sister and husband, Bertha and Jim Gamber of Chickasha; brother and wife, Clarence and Linda Lowrey of Cement; sister-in-law: Linda Lowrey of Chickasha; sister-in-law: Nita Lowrey of El Reno; numerous nieces and nephews; other family and loving friends. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. |
