Funeral Mass for Carl Looney, 84, of Chickasha, Okla., will be held at 10 a. m. on Monday, September 27, 2004, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Union City, Okla.

Wake service will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2004, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. at the church facility.

Carol Looney was born April 1, 1920, in Missouri and died on Wednesday, September 22, 2004, in Tuttle, Okla.

Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass for Carl A. Looney, 84, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 27, 2004, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Union City. Viewing at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2004, followed by wake at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Union City.

Carl A. Looney was born April 1, 1920, in Pierce City, Missouri, and departed this life September 22, 2004, at the age of 84 years.

He graduated from Chickasha High School and also served during World War II with the Air Force 64th Troop Carriers. Carl worked as plant engineer for Pet Inc. in Chickasha for 10 years.

Before Carl's illness, he enjoyed piloting his 1959 Cessna 172 airplane, family, and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Velma Looney, and one infant daughter.

Carl married the love of his life, Maureen J. Looney; they enjoyed 44 years together. She preceded him in death on April 13, 1991.

Carl was a member of Quiet Burden Airplane Group, Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by: wife of 12 years, Margaret M. Waldrup; 2 daughters: Mrs. Rich (Sheila) Foley, Mrs. Jim [Marla] Wolf; 3 grandchildren: Maureen, John, and Hanna, all of Tuttle; 1 sister, Mrs. Frank (Frances) Walker, of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; 2 nieces: Kaye Schneider and Carole Elkins; 4 nephews: Jerry, Jim, Jody, and Kent Walker.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
