© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Wednesday, September 23, 2009 February 14, 1994 ~ September 19, 2009 Funeral service for Sara Savana Lane, age 15 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2009, at the Bible Baptist Church. Rev. Larry Hatfield and Rev. Chuck Davis will officiate. Sara Savana Lane was born the daughter of Danny Ray Lane and Becky Pena Lane on February 14, 1994, in Chickasha. She died on September 19, 2009, in an auto accident near Chickasha. Sara grew up in Chickasha and attended schools in the Chickasha area. She loved to shop, listen to music, take pictures and hang out with her cousin and friends. Sara also loved spending time with her aunt Delma Pena and her grandma. Sara especially loved taking care of her infant son. She attended the New Song Church. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Sye Lane, grandmother, June Self, grandfather, Albert Pena, uncles, Ray Pena, Dale Lane, and Larry Lane, two cousins, Torie Archer, and Derrick Justice Doughty. Survivors include: Son: Kayden Michael Pena of Chickasha, Mother: Rebecca Pena and Jerry Wynn of Chickasha, Father: Danny Lane of Chickasha, Brother: Jason Lane, Brother: Matthew Lane, Grandmother: Margaret Pena, Nieces and Nephews: Alexis Cantrell Lane, Raigan Lane, Lauren Lane, Jason Lane, Jr., Jacob Lane, Dillia Lane, and Romero Lane, Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. |
