Wanda Thompson [Emdy] Jarrell
September 22, 1930 ~ April 21, 2005


Funeral service for Wanda Thompson Emdy Jarrell, 74, of Duncan, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 25, 2005 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Wanda Thompson Emdy Jarrell was born September 22, 1930 East of Cement, Oklahoma the daughter of A. J. "Tony" and Myrtle Eva [Grimes] Thompson and died April 21, 2005 in Duncan, Oklahoma.

She attended school at Fairview and Pioneer. She worked for Gibson in Chickasha. Wanda later moved to Duncan where she lived until her death.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ruben Emdy; second husband, Joe Jarrell; parents; one brother, A. J., Jr.; and one sister, Joyce Jackson.

Survivors include two sisters, Bea Hice of Pueblo, Colorado and Fay Grotsma of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; four brothers and their wives, Max and Sharon Thompson of Duncan, Oklahoma, Harold and Sue Thompson of Kingston, Oklahoma, Wilburn and Donna Thompson of Pueblo, Colorado and Buren and Joan Thompson of Cement, Oklahoma.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
