Mr. Hurd was born May 8, 1938 in Chickasha. He died Thursday, March 8, 2007 in Houston, Texas. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
© Chickasha Star Chickasha, Oklahoma November 30, 1972, pg 8A, col 1/2 Benny Randall "Bennie" Hurd May 22, 1939 ~ November 24, 1972 Jimmy Lee Hurd June 29, 1943 ~ November 24, 1972 Funeral services for Bennie R. and Jimmy Lee Hurd were held on Monday Nov 27 at 1:30p.m. in the chapel of Sevier Funeral Home with Richard Cline, Congregation Servant Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. Both men died as a result of a two car accident south of Marlow on Friday, Nov 24. Bennie was 33 years old and was born May 22, 1939 in Chickasha. Jimmy Lee was 29 and was born June 29, 1942 in Chickasha. They had lived most of their lives here and were employed as truck drivers. Bennie and Jimmy are survived by their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Hurd of Chickasha; one brother, Dewey of McAlester and one sister, Mrs. Phyllis Roath of Dibble. Bennie is also survived by one son, Joey Robbin and four daughters, Tracy Renee, Marcy Renet, Kimmie Redawn and Crystal Rochelle all of Chickasha. Jimmy Lee is survived also by two sons, Mark Anthony and Kenny Don Hurd both of Anadarko. Interment was in the Fairlawn Cemetery under direction of the Sevier Funeral Home |
