© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma May 31, 2005 October 30, 1942 ~ May 28, 2005 Funeral services for Larry Eugene Hubbard, age 62, of Yukon, Oklahoma, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at College Heights Baptist Church of Chickasha. Rev. Lamont Henderson will officiate. Larry was born the son of Leo Edward Hubbard and Minnie Essie Fitzgerald Hubbard, on October 30, 1942, in Yale, Oklahoma. He died on May 28, 2005, in Oklahoma City. Larry grew up in Cushing, Oklahoma. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served until returning to Cushing and being honorably discharged. He began working in the oil and gas business in 1965, while living in Cushing. In 1985, he was transferred to El Reno. Larry worked in the oil and gas business throughout the state of Oklahoma for 40 years. Most of this time was spent working for Key Energy Services. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Hubbard, and his mother, Minnie Hubbard. Survivors include wife, Judy of the home; son and wife, Stephen & Shelley Hubbard of Chickasha; son, Gary Hubbard of Chickasha; father and stepmother, Leo & Audrey Hubbard of Stillwater, Oklahoma; brother and wife, Clarence & Donna Hubbard, of Cushing, Oklahoma; brother and wife, Chris & Lisa Hubbard of Cushing, Oklahoma; sister and husband, Wilma & Doug Crawford of Inman, Kansas; sister and husband, Linda & Chick Ellis of Sachse, Texas; sister and husband, Charlotte & Everett Easley of Kansas, Oklahoma; sister and husband, Patsy & Wayne Simpson of Agra, Oklahoma; sister and husband, Sharon and Tommy Yaunt of Cushing, Oklahoma; sister Vickie Marlow of Arlington, Texas; stepsister and husband, Carolyn & Kenneth Field of Stillwater, Oklahoma; stepbrother Jack Day of San Jose, California; aunt, Lucille Looney of Chickasha; cousins, Mary & Leon Jensen of Chickasha; cousins, Edwin & Janelle Looney of Chickasha; grandchildren, Mike, Chelsea, and Ryan. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery of Chickasha. Services will be under the direction of McRay Funeral Home. |

Hubbard, age 58, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2004, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Ray Lamont Henderson will officiate. Bonnie was born, the daughter of William Vester Baney and Dollie Ferguson Baney, on November 28, 1945, in Fraley, Missouri. She died on April 19, 2004, in Chickasha. She married Larry Eugene Hubbard on May 17, 1957, in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Bonnie was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch and playing dominoes with her neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mary Sue Baney and Baby Girl Baney. Survivors include: husband, Larry Eugene Hubbard, of El Reno; son and wife, Stephen E. and Shelley Hubbard of Chickasha; son, Gary E. Hubbard, of Chickasha; three grandchildren: Mike, Chelsea, and Ryan Hubbard, of Chickasha; brother, Maxie Dee Baney, of Marked Tree, Arkansas; brother, Walter Elwood Baney, of Harrisburg, Arkansas; brother, Charles Leon Baney, of Vandale, Arkansas; brother, Leland Carl Baney, of Cave City, Arkansas; brother, James Alfred Baney, of Harrisburg, Arkansas, brother, William Alvin Baney, of Hardy, Arkansas, sister, Mary Viola Baney Austin, of Jonesboro, Arkansas; sister, Mildred Louise Baney Wood, of Marked Tree, Arkansas; sister, Sarah Lee Baney Ford, of Truman, Arkansas; sister, Francis Pauline Baney Roberts, of Truman, Arkansas; sister, Velma Jean Baney Floyd, of Jonesboro, Arkansas; sister, Melissa Ann Baney Davis; sister, Rachael Ellen Baney, of Marked Tree, Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
