Larry Gene "Bucky" Horry
June 29, 1950 ~ April 28, 1979


Funeral for Larry Gene "Bucky" Horry, 28, 206 West G Street, Alex, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, at 1, in the chapel of Sevier's Funeral Home. Rev Russell Long will officiate

Mr. Horry was born June 29, 1950, in Chickasha. He was fatally injured early Saturday morning in an oil field accident near Alex.

He lived in Alex all his life and attended public schools there. Mr. Horry was an NM boilermaker and oil field derrick hand formerly with the Big Chief Drilling Company.

He was preceded in death in 1970 by his father, Weldon Horry.

Survivirs include his wife, Shirley, a daughter, Robin, two sons, Michael and Bryan, and a daughter Kelli, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Horry of Chickasha; a brother, Weldon Horry of Chickasha; and a sister, Mrs. Lahoma Ann Young of Springfield, MO.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
