© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Tuesday, April 3, 2007 December 4, 1944 ~ April 1, 2007 Funeral services for Harold "Jack" Hayes, 62, of Chickasha will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2007, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Harold "Jack" Hayes was born December 4, 1944, in Blanchard, Oklahoma the son of Walter and Ruby [Stevens] Hayes. He died April 1, 2007, in Chickasha. Jack was raised in Altus, Oklahoma and attended Altus Public Schools. He married the love of his life, his wife of 28 1/2 years, DeLois "Dee" [Kessler] Hayes, on October 20, 1978. Jack worked in the tree trimming business his entire life. He came to Chickasha in 1988, where he continued his work, raised his family, and made many friends. He enjoyed playing the guitar, going to gospel singings, and spending time with his grandkids. Jack was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers: Lloyd and Cleo Hayes; three sisters: Juanita Ryans, Annabell Wilson, and Lois Eskind. He is survived by his wife, Dee Hayes, of the home; four daughters and sons-in-law: Patsy and Luis Mata, of Red Oak, Texas; Beverly Wallace,Jacquilyn and Michal Williams, and Michelle and Carl Gill, all of Chickasha; three sons and daughters-in-law: Rick and Carrie Finley, of Waxahachie, Texas; Clint Hayes, and Michael and Tracy Andrews, all of Chickasha; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Walter and Sheila Hayes, of Chickasha; Albert and Myra Hayes, of Forney, Texas; two sisters: Julie Molina, of Altus; Ruth Hayes, of Chickasha; sixteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. The family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to accept condolences. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
