© Wilson-Little Funeral Home Purcell, Oklahoma January 23, 2015 John Eugene Hawks November 5, 1945 ~ January 23, 2015 Johnny Eugene Hawks age 69 of Anadarko, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 in Inola, OK. He was born November 5, 1945 in Portales, New Mexico. He was the 2nd child of four children born to Jimmy Hillman Hawks and Johnnie Pauline [Ross]. Johnny grew up and attended school in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. He later married Naomi Fulgam on October 1967 and together they raised four children. Johnny worked most of his life as a carpenter and builder. For a short time in his life he was in Law Enforcement. During his working years he lived in New Mexico. For the past 35 years he has lived close to his family in Oklahoma, living in Anadarko and other towns. In his younger years Johnny loved to rodeo, riding bulls and broncs. He loved telling real stories and making up stories about the old days. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by: Father, Jimmy Hawks; Mother, Pauline Ross Daman; Sister, Jalaine Gallion; Brother, Jimmy Duane Hawks. He is survived by: Step-father, Justus Hefley of Anadarko; Four children, John Hawks and wife Tracy of Belen, NM, Justus Hawks and wife Amanda of Sugar City, CO, Jesse Hawks and wife Debbie of Los Lunas, NM, Janell Gallegos and husband Phillip of Socorro, NM; Brother, Bob Hawks Hefley and wife Susan of Blanchard; Two aunts, Lattrell Massey and husband Gene of NM, Edna Earl of Austin, TX. 7 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends; Graveside funeral services will be 3:30 PM Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, OK. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle. |
