Hall was born May 8, 1917 in Cooperton, OK, and died February 25, 2005 in Chickasha.

Graveside services for Loren L. Hall, 87, of Chickasha, will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery with Robert Dye officiating.

Loren L. Hall was born May 8, 1917, in Cooperton, Oklahoma the son of James Arthur Hall and Vallie Ervil Gray. He died Friday, February 25, 2005 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Loren grew up in Enid, Oklahoma and later moved to Britton, Oklahoma where he graduated from Britton High School in 1936.

On December 14, 1941 he married Betty Peacock in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

During his lifetime he served eleven years with the United States Army, also serving two years over seas in Europe. During his years of service he received the American Define Ribbon, the Good Conduct Ribbon, the Europe Ribbon and two Bronze Stars.

After being honorable discharged from Ft. Sill in 1951 he and Betty moved to Chickasha where he was employed with Evans and Hoebing Chevrolet and Cadillac, Melton Ford, and Shepard Supply. He retired in 1984 from Gabriel Ride after eleven years of employment.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chickasha.

Loren was preceded in death by both parents and his wife Betty in September 1998.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law: Walter LeRoy and Sue Hall of Coweta, Oklahoma and Larry Hall of Moore, Oklahoma, five granddaughters and husbands; Hollie and Justin Stout, Melanie and Jarrod Burroughs, Tracie and Matt Gregory, Jamie and Brandon Rush, and Lindy and John Jerlow; one grandson David Hall; five great grandchildren, Madison and Mackenzie Burroughs, Colton and Katie Gregory, and Conner Stout.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Fleeta Maurice [Bayless] Glass Hall

Funeral service for Fleeta Maurice Bayless Glass Hall, 74, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2005 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Fleeta Maurice Hall was born to John and Vera Bayless on February 5, 1930 at the Bayless family farm northeast of Alex, Oklahoma. She went home to Jesus on January 25, 2005 after a lengthy illness.

Maurice was the bookkeeper at the Appliances Service Center [Maytag Store] from 1963 - 1987.

Maurice loved music. She loved playing the piano at concerts, revivals and church. Her life was filled with a love for gospel music as is exhibited by her being the church pianist for the Grace Baptist Church for over 40 years.

Maurice loved her Lord, life, her family, people, music, singing and traveling. One of her greatest accomplishments was traveling to the Holy Land where she walked where Jesus walked and was re-baptized in the River Jordan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Thelma Lewis; son-in-law, Bill Ewy, and husbands, Lester Glass and Walter Hall.

Survivors include her children, Delbert Busby and wife Joyce, Fleeta [Ewy] Richardson and husband Sonny, Andrea Pettijohn and husband Cliff, Teresa Williams and husband Gary; nine grandchildren, Glay Busby, Debbie Michels, Aaron Busby, Kenzel Ewy, Brandon Ewy, Jennifer Jantzen, Troy Williams, Michael Pettijohn and Kent Pettijohn; 10 great grandchildren, Whitney, Christopher and Brook Busby; Kayla and Trevor Michels; Berlynn, Keiser and Tempest Ewy; Ramsey Jantzen and soon to appear Michah Williams; special friend, Gene Cox; two brothers and their wives, Ross and Imogene Bayless and William 'Bud' and Betty Bayless; four sisters, Corene Morris, Naomi Meek, Eullalah Blanchard, Lavern Rodgers and her husband Durel 'Tots'; sisters-in-law, Pauline Calton and Aline Hyder; and brother-in-law, Van Hall.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Ellen Gertrude "GiGi" [Moran] Hall

Funeral service for Ellen Gertrude Hall age 84 of Oklahoma City, former Pocasset resident, will be held 10 am Thursday July 7, 2016 in the First Baptist Church of Pocasset.

Ellen Gertrude Hall was born June 29,1932 at Matoy, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Houston and Laura [Couch] Moran. She died Sunday July 3, 2016 in Oklahoma City.

She and James E. Hall were married August 12, 1951 in Chickasha. They lived in the Pocasset area since 1957. They farmed in Pocasset. She then attended USAO and received a BA degree after which she attended Southwestern University and received a Masters Degree. She taught at Ninnekah public schools for 13 years until her retirement.

She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Pocasset. She taught Sunday School and Bible School. She was an avid reader and did sewing.

She had resided at Oakwood Village Assistant Living Center where she served as an officer. She had also lived several years in Chickasha.

She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Hall April 3, 1999. Her parents and two brothers also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: Her son Jimmy Hall and his wife Mary, Grandchildren: Carrie Hodges and husband Lynn, Kenny Hall and wife Sarah, Lissa Woody and husband Matt,, Melissa Taylor and husband Desmond , Mark Higgins and Jimmy Grindler., Sister Maudean Lowe and brother Jerry Moran and his wife Mary Glenda., Great grandchildren:, Luke Hodges, Kara Morris, Kenzie Hall, Lainey Hall, Deazil Woody, Kendyn Taylor and Blakelyn Woody., And several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
