Bonnie Haggard was born April 15, 1921, and died on Friday, October 17, 2003. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. © The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma October 19, 2003 April 15, 1921 ~ October 17, 2003 Funeral service for Bonnie M. Haggard, 82, of Oklahoma City, former Chickasha resident, were held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2003, at the Southern Oaks Church of Christ. Bonnie M. Haggard was born April 15, 1921, in Apache, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Franklin and Effie Jane [Davis] Baker, and died October 17, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Haggard moved to Chickasha in 1940. She and Troy Lee Haggard were married November 11, 1941. He preceded her in death June 1, 1991. Mrs. Haggard was a sales associate and purchaser for C. R. Anthony's for 20 years before retiring. She was a member of the Southern Oaks Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by: parents; 2 sisters: Willie Cadell and Ellen Holland Payne; son-in-law: Jim McClanahan. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Sandy McClanahan of Oklahoma City; 1 sister, Edith Austin; 1 granddaughter, Amy McClanahan; several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
